Keratin Treatment

Our keratin treatment coats your hair with protein, leaves your hair smooth and frizz-free without changing your natural hair texture chemically or permanently. A keratin treatment forms a semi-permanent keratin film on the outer surface of cuticles. Coated by this protein, the hair becomes 70~90% less frizzy with increased shine and manageability while the hair's natural elasticity and body are maintained. A keratin is a type of proteins which has closer components to human hair and has a good affinity with our hair, so that this nature of this protein serves as effectual protection against damages. The tangible effect of the treatment lasts for 3 to 5 months, depending on the frequency of shampooing. Keratin Treatment is recommendable if you wish to minimise fly-aways and frizziness, typically in a seasonal humid weather, and it is beneficial for both styling purposes: keeping the hair smoother and enhancing hair's natural curls. If you blow-dry or use an iron to smooth/straighten your hair, having a keratin treatment on your hair will help your hair dry faster and styled easier. The treatment takes two to four hours depending on the length and volume of your hair. The time you can start washing your hair after the completion of the treatment varies depending on the products we use; some allow soon after the completion and some instruct to leave 48 hours. Unlike classic keratin treatments, not many products in the international market today demand 3-day wait. We will be able to give you all the small details about the protection of your post-keratin hair during this non-washing period, which are not too difficult to do.
